Megavisionary Labs assists Cepsa in creating and launching their "Positive Motion Megavision 2030" initiative.

Megavisionary Labs has created the new strategic vision for decarbisnisation for CEPSA, the Spanish multinational oil and chemical company.

Maarten Wetselaar, CEO of Cepsa, launched the new #PositiveMotion strategy and vision 2030 in a global event.

Megavisionary Labs® has played a key role in enhancing CEPSA’s 2030 strategy by developing a Megavision® that strengthens the company’s ESG commitment with the vision: “A world in positive motion.” This new vision positions CEPSA as a leader in sustainable mobility and green energy. Over the next decade, CEPSA will invest more than €8 billion to decarbonize its product portfolio and introduce sustainable energies into its ‘energy parks,’ including green hydrogen for mobility, sustainable aviation fuels, and solar power for its network of 2,000 service stations.

A central part of the new vision is CEPSA’s commitment to becoming a ‘Net Positive’ company, setting itself apart from the now outdated concept of ‘Net Zero,’ which focuses on minimizing harm. Instead, ‘Net Positive’ emphasizes creating a positive impact on society, aiming to do “more good” for people and communities.

Maarten Wetselaar, CEO of Cepsa, presenting their new strategic vision 2030.

“ We are thrilled to announce that our client Cepsa and their CEO Maarten Wetselaar launched the new #PositiveMotion strategy and vision 2030. Cepsa is now positioned as sustainable mobility, new commerce and green energy leader ready to build a brighter future for society. The new strategy will differentiate Cepsa as a proactive actor in building the new energy and mobility infrastructure for 2050”
